Her Approach: Seeing the Full Picture
Sometimes we feel alone in what we have experienced. We feel disconnected from ourselves and others, or we simply feel something must change but we aren't sure what or how to do it. We consider the idea of therapy...but that can sound scary.
This is why I practice from a place of warmth and genuine curiosity, while also setting out to create emotional safety for those I serve. Though I use a variety of different approaches depending on the unique needs of my clients, I tend to practice from an attachment-based and humanistic approach. I am culturally sensitive feminist therapist and often take a Strength-Based approach. I also have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I work with individuals, adults, teens, and preteens through various challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, gender and sexuality, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and codependency.
I strive to be transparent and approachable in conjunction with my clinical skills, as I believe that the presence of a strong therapeutic relationship is where most healing happens.
Life Outside Of Session
I find nature to be grounding and I spend time hiking and snowboarding. I also love spending time with my dog, Finn!
